How does it work?

There are no rules when it comes to a funeral or memorial service. The most important thing is that you have a ceremony that is right for you and the person who has died.

To begin with, I will meet with you - in person, over the phone or virtually if you prefer - so that we can discuss the kind of service that you would like. This is your time to share with me any stories and memories of your loved one, and to let me know if they had any specific wishes.

We can explore any music or readings you would like to include, and any individual tributes you would like to be part of the service. Together we create a personalised ceremony, unique to the person who has died.

I will then write and deliver a bespoke service that has your loved one at its heart. I will also write a eulogy based on what you have told me. There will be time for you to read this before the day to make sure it accurately reflects the person, and commemorates them in the way that you want. If you prefer writing your own eulogy, I'm available to support you with this, or to read it for you on the day. The choice is always yours.
